Mission

Established on August 1, 2014, the R&D Office and establishes and promotes close ties between academia and business/industrial sectors. Our major objectives are to establish the university’s long- and short-term policies, apply for research grants from government institutions, increase cooperation with business partners, and broaden academic relationships with other schools.  More specifically, our office is responsible for:

♦   Collecting information and establishing the university’s development strategy

♦   Planning and managing both in-school and between-schools academic exchanges and partnership programs

♦   Managing the projects supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology

♦   Managing grants for university faculty research projects and assisting faculty with applying for patents

♦   Planning and managing cooperation with business partners

♦   Enhancing and upgrading industrial technology and products, provide guidance and facilities for business operations, and promoting the start-up of small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)
